Code Purple: Day Thirteen

I am not yours.
You have fought
over my autonomy
many years longer
than I have struggled
for a truce.
I am a barren
wilderness,
torn through
your endless need
to survive,
yet you still stalk me
in relentless pursuit.
Just.
Let.
Me.
Go.
I am not yours.
