Code Purple: Day Eleven

Rage, regret, repeat.
This is unbridled,
it is a molecular struggle
deeper than marrow,
deeper than memory.
Tears are swallowed up
in the tidal void,
we are so lost
in our hindrance,
praying for miracles
to release us
from its grasp.
Poised for love
by the teeth
of our struggle,
buried by the words
that release us.
