DVAM Code-Purple: Day Twenty Six

Invalid, indecisive results.
His words are plagued with lies,
whichever way you look at it.

(Let’s all feel sorry
for the delusional hero
who woke up one day,
in his sadness,
to find himself alone
and unkempt.
No mountains
and no wife
to soothe the ache,
only the memory
of a child bled out
by his own hands,
and a cold, lonely bed.)

Better off dead, some days,
better than everyone, some others,
but mostly…

Just dead.
